More About me

Hi! I’m Angela Siciliano, and I’ve been combining my love of fitness and my passion for helping others for over two decades. My journey started in 2004 when I became a certified Jazzercise instructor and began teaching adapted fitness classes for individuals with disabilities. By 2009, I decided to fully dedicate my franchise to serving that amazing community.

As a longtime yoga enthusiast, I realized how much yoga could bring—not just for physical fitness but for mental wellness and mindfulness too. That’s why, in 2016, I completed training with ChildLight Yoga to teach yoga to kids and teens (ages 2-18). In 2017, I expanded my skills to include yoga for individuals with special needs and autism. By 2018, I had certifications in chair yoga for emotional healing and for seniors, offering even more ways to make fitness accessible for everyone.

I’ve also worked directly with individuals with developmental disabilities since 2007.

I’m an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor, NCCA and EFHA accredited, CPR/ First Aid certified (AHA), a Level 1 Reiki practitioner, and a former MOVE (Movement Opportunity Via Education) trainer. I’m also a trained Cancer Exercise Specialist and Breast Cancer Recovery BOSU Specialist and hold a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) certification.

In 2017, I decided to branch out and start my own company, Adapted Fitness & Yoga LLC, with the belief that #FitnesslsForEveryone. My classes are all inclusive and designed to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities, as well as anyone looking for low-impact or adapted modifications. The goal is to create a supportive, safe environment where everyone can succeed and feel great at their own pace.

Today, I’m also a special education assistant at Westlake High School, working with students in their MD classrooms. All of my fitness classes are mobile, so Adapted Fitness & Yoga can come to you-whether it’s a school, community program, group or personal home or ESY summer sessions.
