Adaptive Yoga

Our Adapted Yoga classes are tailored to support participants in achieving greater wellness. Through a thoughtful approach, participants will:

Aerobic Dance

At Adapted Fitness & Yoga, we believe staying active should be both fun and accessible. With this in mind, our Aerobic Dance class is designed for individuals with developmental disabilities, offering a lively way to boost well-being and cardiovascular fitness.

This inclusive class, suitable for all abilities, including seated options, focuses on:

  • First, full-body dance routines to improve flexibility, balance, and muscle tone.
  • Next, aerobic exercises to strengthen the immune system.
  • Additionally, movement activities that uplift mood and enhance focus.

Private Sessions

Private Sessions are thoughtfully designed for individuals with developmental disabilities. These one-on-one or small-group sessions take place in the comfort of your home or group home, ensuring a supportive and personalized experience.

In each private session, we focus on:

  • First and foremost, meeting individual goals, strengths, and interests.
  • Additionally, exploring movement and wellness at a pace that feels comfortable and achievable.
  • Finally, creating a custom approach to make fitness and yoga enjoyable and fulfilling.
